COVERS ALL CLINICALLY RELEVANT PATHOGENS AND RESISTANCES

The Unyvero Pneumonia Panel

Developed in cooperation with European and US KOLs.

The panel was primarily developed to include patients with the following risks:

  • pathogens that cause serious and difficult-to-treat types of pneumonia (such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa)
  • pathogens that carry antimicrobial substances in them and make isolation necessary
  • infections with multidrug resistant bacteria (MDR) that are not covered by empirical treatment regimes

The Unyvero Pneumonia Panel covers relevant antibiotic resistances that can occur in the case of pneumonia by analyzing 39 genetic markers:

  • ß-lactam resistance, including ESBL
  • kpc resistance
  • Macrolide resistance
  • Fluoroquinolones resistance
  • Multidrug resistance (MDR)
